This go-round brought over 500 exhibitors, 5,000 registered attendees and participation from 17 countries to the halls of the Centre. ATS Canada has established itself as the premier textile and apparel sourcing show in the country. That being said, this year the show expanded both literally and figuratively. In fact, the showroom space expanded from 40,000 to 135,000 square feet. On top of textiles and apparel, new product categories were added. These included general merchandise, electronics, toys, sports, gift, craft, decor, bath, kitchen, bed, household, pet, outdoor, furniture, jewelry, and garden.
New showcases were added as well, such as the India Pavilion and the Canadian debut of the China Brand Show which included lightly manufactured products and electronics. Well-known Chinese apparel brands debuted through Avenue ATS. Through this, established brands from the regions were able to gain entrance to the North American Market.
